Runaway Lady, Conquering Lord – the excerpt has piqued my interest and I now wish to know how this conquering knight intends to tame his runaway lady and stop her running for good.

My answers for the contest:
1. Edourad
2. 18
3. The Novice Bride - because it fits exactly what I like in my historical romances, a situation that forces the hero/heroine together and how their love grows (probably because I myself am in an arranged marriage, similar circumstances, albeit not to escape a convent).

My name - Ms. Ubah Khasimuddin

1. The heroine is 18 yrs old.

3. Wow, I want to read them all! I have chosen The Novice Bride because it is the first book in the mini-series and I know characters from it crop up in the later books. I might easily have chosen His Captive Lady as I think this one stands entirely alone - it was very tempting! - but I have visited Winchester a number of times in recent years which acted as an additional incentive to me to choose the first book.
Many thanks and Merry Christmas from Jennifer W, West Sussex, UK.

Hello Carol,
Just wish I'd had a working computer when the Advent Calendar started but that wasn't to be my journey.
Unlike your heroines, I had a choice in my life, and walked down the aisle forty-two, action-packed years ago today.
However, unlike your heroine, I wasn't eighteen - question 1. And I didn't have to kowtow to a brother like Edward - question 2 - when her husband died. The closest I ever came to being under the thumb was on a second date with someone who introduced me to his brother that night. He said his brother was getting married soon, and when I asked where his brother's fiancee was, I was told that his brother didn't have one 'yet', but they needed someone to cook, wash and iron, and clean for them... Needless to say I never saw him again. It's much nicer to have doses of that lifestyle as an escapism, rather than to endure it.
Question 3 - I'd choose Runaway Lady, Conquering Lord because you've hooked me with Emma's and
Sir Richard's story. I'd like to know where their rocky paths take them.

Happy Christmas!! The heroine’s age is 18 and her brother’s name is Edouard. If I could chose which book I would like to win it would be The Novice Bride. I would like this book because I always read a series in order plus I like a strong heroine and you can’t go wrong with a “rushed marriage of convenience” romance.
